How sign-in works, what a project is, and what you need before you start.

Signing in

Sign in with your work email. There is no password to set or remember: enter your address and DiscoveredBy sends a one-time sign-in link to your inbox. The link works once, for 15 minutes, in this browser only, so a link forwarded to someone else, or opened after it expires, does not get them in.

Only work addresses can sign in. Typing a Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo or Hotmail address is caught at the form itself: the button disables and the page asks for your company address instead, before anything is sent.

What a project is

A project is one site: its own tracked prompts, its own tracked competitors, and its own collected data. Everything else in the product, from the dashboard to every screen under Visibility, Optimize and Analytics, is scoped to whichever project you currently have selected.

How many projects you can create depends on your plan. See Pricing for what each plan includes.

What you need before you start

You need the URL of the site you want to track. That is the only hard requirement: signing in for the first time takes you straight into the four-step setup in Onboarding, and that setup starts from your site's URL.

If you want the Search performance and Traffic screens under Analytics to show anything, you will also need access to that site's Google Search Console property, its GA4 property, or both. Connect them from Settings once you are in. Neither is required to start tracking AI visibility itself.

  • Engines and measurement: which of the five engines run for you, and why that can differ from your plan's list
