Overview
All payments made to DiscoveredBy are non-refundable. By subscribing to any paid plan, you acknowledge and agree that charges are final and that we do not issue refunds or credits for any reason, except as explicitly described in this policy or required by applicable law.
This is consistent with standard practice across the SaaS industry. When you purchase access to DiscoveredBy, you are paying for immediate access to a digital service — the value is delivered from the moment your subscription begins.
How Billing Works
DiscoveredBy offers subscription plans billed on a monthly or annual basis. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will be charged at the start of each billing cycle.
We will send you a receipt for each charge to the email address associated with your account. It is your responsibility to ensure your billing information is accurate and up to date.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access to all paid features until that date. No further charges will be made after cancellation.
Cancelling mid-cycle does not entitle you to a refund or credit for the unused portion of your subscription period.
Exceptions
We may, at our sole discretion, issue a refund or credit in the following limited circumstances:
- Duplicate charges — if you were charged more than once for the same billing period due to a technical error on our part.
- Billing errors — if an incorrect amount was charged due to a pricing or system error attributable to DiscoveredBy.
- Legal requirements — where applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction mandate a right to a refund (for example, the EU 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services where applicable).
To request an exception, contact us within 14 days of the charge at hello@discoveredby.ai with your account email and a description of the issue. We will review each request on a case-by-case basis.
Free Plan
DiscoveredBy offers a free tier that does not require a credit card. No charges are ever applied to free plan accounts, so this policy does not affect free users.
Plan Changes
If you upgrade your plan mid-cycle, you will be charged the prorated difference immediately and your new plan features will be available right away. If you downgrade, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing period — no refund is issued for the difference in the current period.
Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to the address associated with your account. Continued use of the Service after such notification constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
