# DiscoveredBy
> DiscoveredBy shows brands how AI answer engines discuss them, and how to get cited, recommended, and measured.

DiscoveredBy is a GEO and AEO platform for monitoring AI visibility, closing citation gaps, prioritizing improvements, and attributing AI-driven traffic and revenue.

Collection uses generated API answers from Gemini, Perplexity Sonar, Anthropic and xAI, and, through a licensed data provider (DataForSEO), Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode results fetched from Google, ChatGPT (app) answers fetched from chatgpt.com in a session that is not signed in, and Gemini (app) answers fetched from gemini.google.com in a session that is not signed in, according to plan. API outputs can differ from consumer apps. When Google shows no AI answer for a prompt, that is recorded as its own outcome and reported as a shown rate. Sentiment trends compare stored brand-mention records within a collection channel, with sample counts and evidence.
